MAKING HISTORY IN DEMOCRATIC ARUCAS
With The Civic Platform Arucas after gaining almost 600 signatures in 5 days, in a process unprecedented in this City, appeared in today's bid to participate in elections in the coming 22 May. The signatures supporting the presentation of this group of voters, were collected as the standard applied in HE. Arucas City Council, with the Secretary of the same. 
President of the Platform, Manuel Perera, and three members of the same came to fulfill the bureaucratic act culminating with the historic route of mobilization of the citizenry aruquense. Members have participated signing of various political organizations, anonymous citizens, neighbors, family members, twenty-first century who wanted to circle the Democracy.
Not being a party to put themselves forward for election as a citizen movement, requiring 500 signatures of people Arucas over 18 years, surveyed in January 31 at City Hall or notarized, completed this process, this Platform, already constituted as a group of electors, present a candidate led by Marisol Collado and composed of men and women trained, committed, honest, hardworking, willing to serve the public.
At the end of the completion, the representatives of the Platform thanked the young people that premiered on participation and older to renew their commitment to freedom, friends and adversaries, workers who had force their workday to meet this extra work (especially Secretariat and Statistics) to the two workers who extended their working hours in the afternoon to meet us, those who want to sign and could not, even those who may not want to sign because they were more value to firms others.
