Novelda is held in the Second Meeting of the Federation Astures comparsas
On Saturday 24 January, was held at the premises of the Comparsa Astures Novelda, the Second Meeting of the Federation of Asturian Comparsas.
The first took place on November 8 last, being the host city Elche. Gathered at 9 Comparsas that make up the Federation, one more, the recent creation of the Comparsa Astures of Benidorm, and were the following:

Santa Pola - Benidorm Astures Filà
- Comparsa Crevillent Astures
- Comparsa Astures
Elche - Row Alcoi Asturian
- Comparsa Novelda Astures
- Comparsa Astures
Ontinyent - Highlanders San Blas de Covadonga
- Astures Sant Vicent del Raspeig
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Novelda, Mariano Beltran and the Councillor for Fiestas Reme Boyer and the President of the Central Board of Moors and Christians Novelda, José Eugenio Perez, who first welcomed all attendees and stressed the importance of such initiatives, showing their support, both from the city council, and from the Central Board.
Entered in the main point to address was the provision of legal entity of the Federation. For this occasion we had the legal services which account Astures Novelda Comparsa. After several interventions, they concluded that the best thing would be to create an association, which has commissioned the development of laws and has called on all the groups again for another meeting on May 23 , being hosted by Filà Astures Benidorm.

Another agreement reached was to commemorate the day of Asturias, will be in a Day of Living Novelda all Astures Comparsas of 9 people on 13 September, where there will be a giant paella and there will be a band for your enjoyment to all attendees.
The evening ended with a lunch of brotherhood among the attendees who, like the whole meeting took place in a relaxed atmosphere.
